My name is Edward van den Berg and I bring over 20 years experience in technical project management of complex multidisciplinary projects in rail & road infrastructure, aviation and maritime sectors. In a broad range of technical projects I havebeen responsible for managing system development, implementation and commissioning of technical systems. My extensive experience in managing system engineering projects and a broad technical background, guarantees added value in complex technical projects.
Since 2000 I have been as an independent consultant, mainly responsible for technical project and safety risk management of ERTMS railway signalling projects, such as Betuweroute A15 ERTMS freight line and Havenspoorlijn. Before I worked as a technical project leader in international aeronautical charting projects in aviation industry.
Projects are carried out for various clients, including ProRail, Rijkswaterstaat, ECT, Thales Communications, Eurocontrol, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, SAS Swedish Airlines, Malaysian Civil Aviation Authorities and Nevesbu.
A pragmatic approach, quality, commitment and timely delivery are recognized by me as key factors for successful projects.
I am married since 1992 with Netty and since 1999 father of three daughters, Danica, Leanne and Senna.
